Appraisers are usually hired in connection with the purchase of a property. They are usually chosen from a list your Lender (The Bank) has and from that list you are to chose one. They usually cost between $2,000.00 to $3,000.00 and up depending on the size of the property. However, if you are buying a property in the Trinity Industrial District or the Design District, you may want to request that your Lender use either of these two Appraisal Firms. Each has extensive knowledge of the District.

An appraisal can make or break your deal so don't hire one without checking with me. Otherwise, your purchase can fall apart before it has a chance to make.
Opinion of Value: If you just need a "date of death" appraisal for Probate . Or for Estate Planning you need to know what your properties in Trinity are worth. I can do a Broker's Opinion of Value for you for about $ 500.00. However, it is not considered a Certified Appraisal.
